Note from the editor:
Several months ago we published our Special Edition of The Worker to start a campaign slogan. Members, friends and supporters of the Workers Party are encouraged to take part in the campaign by reciting the slogan "If you are illegal, then I am Illegal!" with others in any language while shaking hands and looking into each other's eyes. Don't do it without quickening love in your heart. We want to hear more from you about all your experiences with it as soon as possible. WorkerspartyUSAChicagoBranch@gmail.com
Update on the Mass Workers' Press
The Anti-Imperialist Forum (AIF) is being circulated nationwide at communities and workplaces to educate and unite workers and all people in the fight against war and militarism. The AIF publications, often reprinted in The Worker, collectively aim to inform readers about the dangers of war, encourage discussion about the government's war program, and promote unity based on opposition to imperialism.
The Marxist-Leninist editorial board played a key role in organizing the AIF, and expressed a desire for everyone to join in highlighting the growing concern and activism among our contacts against U.S. imperialism's war preparations.
Marxist-Leninist theory exposes the aggressive aims of big capital behind both Republican and Democratic militarist policies, and seeks to unite opposition to war under a common political banner against the bipartisan warmakers.
The forum brings together contacts from various points of the anti-war movement, all united in their belief that mass struggle against imperialism is the only way to combat war and militarism.
Therefore, AIF aims to counter the divisive tactics of revisionist and social-democratic sects, which have dominated anti-war movements in the United States and throughout the world for years. These sects believe that the bosses' campaigns for slashing the social safety net, attacks on democratic rights, and war program can be stopped through legislative and electoral remedies, relying on the Democratic party politicians to initiate new legislation. They view capitalist democracy in the U.S. as the best political system, providing opportunities for the masses to address grievances and defend their rights. These sects have stifled enthusiasm and promoted illusions in the imperialist system, while discouraging independent thought and action.
Anti-war activists recently had bitter experience that confirmed this analysis. The various revisionist and social-democratic sects that dominated the meetings played a disintegrating and splitting role. These sects created a stifling and defeatist atmosphere by denouncing the workers as "backward" while forming coalitions to keep them under the domination of the politics of the so-called "lesser evil."
The revisionists and social-democrats support swindles like the Iraq War freeze campaign and the "political solution" in the former USSR and China as well as endorse U.S. candidates like Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Donald Trump. They promote illusions in the imperialist system, pretending that war and militarism can be opposed without breaking away from and struggling against the U.S. capitalist class and its political parties.
Instead of educating about the real aims of U.S. imperialism and exposing its tactics, these opportunists organize superficial actions and seminars to satisfy themselves and refrain from alienating sponsors. They fail to pursue serious analysis of the causes of war and paths of struggle against it, suppressing any independent thought or planned action from would-be militant participants. The result of revisionist and social-democratic discouragement is a weakened enthusiasm, confused thinking, and watered-down demands.
In contrast, the AIF provides a genuinely democratic and centralized platform for writers, contacts and readers to expose government aggression and address challenges in building a principled anti-war movement.
The clarity and enthusiasm expressed in the planning meetings for the AIF publications is expected to spread among a wider section of contacts, and all those opposed to war and militarism are urged to support and participate in building the forum.

U.S. Imperialism, Out of the Middle East!
The Netanyahu regime's brutal oppression of the Palestinian people is receiving full support from the Biden administration and U.S. imperialism. The U.S. government is providing military equipment, economic loans, moral, technical and military support to the Israeli zionists as part of its longstanding Middle East strategy. This strategy aims to maintain Israel as a thorn in the side of the Palestinian nation and exploit the region's mineral wealth.
In the face of this policy there is a growing movement among the American working class in solidarity with the Palestinian masses. Protests, demonstrations, strikes, and sit-ins have taken place across the country, even on college campuses.
In response to the Palestinian uprising and the solidarity movement in the U.S., the U.S. capitalist class is attempting to undermine these struggles. Politicians from both parties are expressing moral outrage while aiming to derail the revolutionary struggle of the Palestinians.
The imperialist deception seeks to convince the Palestinians to give up their revolutionary fight and rely on U.S. imperialism and the Israeli regime for dialogue and change. However, the occupation regime is already engaged in a dialogue of violence and imprisonment.
The U.S. government aims to suppress mass struggle by diverting attention to legislative efforts and lobbying, instead of militant mass actions and building permanent, reliable anti-imperialist unity and organization. Revisionist and social-democratic groups are promoting Congressional bills and prominent pro-war politicians as leaders of the peace movement, while seeking to restrict the scope of the struggle.
To defeat the bi-partisan war program, the American working class must reject reliance on legislation and lobbying. Instead, they must continue developing the struggle through militant mass actions, exposing imperialist deception, and expressing principled support for the revolutionary struggle of the Palestinian masses.
The monopoly capitalist ruling class of the U.S., supported by its state apparatus, propaganda machine, and political parties, is actively working against the aspirations and struggles of the Americanpeople.
Social-democratic, revisionist, and opportunist groups have abandoned the fight against capitalist exploitation and war and instead promote alliances with the Democratic party. The revisionists and opportunists aim to undermine the fighting and oppositional nature of workers' struggles by slandering them as "backward" and advocating for a dependence on the Democratic party.
They also promote capitalist frauds to create illusions about imperialism and prevent the masses from recognizing and combating the root problem. These groups dilute the demands of the masses and redirect their struggles towards congressional lobbying and bourgeois elections, protecting the capitalist class.
To counter this, the working class and popular masses need a genuine revolutionary political party rooted in Marxist-Leninist theory, advocating for revolution and socialism. Such a party should uphold proletarian internationalism and support national liberation movements, showing workers and the antiwar movement how to connect their struggles.
One immediate demand is an end to all U.S. government aid to Israel, which can deal significant blows against Israeli zionism. However, only through the revolutionary struggle of the Palestinian masses can the occupation be overthrown and a genuinely sovereign Palestinian state be established.
In the U.S., while supporting Palestinian demands, it is crucial to develop an all-sided mass political struggle against U.S. imperialism. Mass resistance against U.S. imperialism and support for the Palestinian revolution should be central elements of the anti-war struggle in America.
The people are the decisive factor!
Problems are meant to be solved!
